I found this while searching for pumpkin treat recipies for dogs and thought it was interesting and would share. I don't know it's validity but anything natural to get around harsh meds is worth a try in my eyes. :up:

Yup, it's true. There are other remedies that a lot of dog owners use. I'll post them once I find a book someone gave me.

Oops, I forgot to add that they should be freshly ground pumpkin seeds. They lose their strength if the ground seeds are unused for too long, even when stored in the fridge.

Interesting I did not know that. I know it is in some of the better dog foods. But they are not fresh as [MENTION=1209]savemejeebus[/MENTION] mentioned once in the dog food.
