My sincerest condolences... Fred was a handsome boy :*(

Moebrane Several of us here have had losses, and we can feel your pain. It is never an easy thing to deal with,or "get over". Fred was a son to you,and it will not be easy to be without him. The best thing to help heal is to get another Bullie. It will not be Fred, but there IS room in your heart for another. Some people say "I will never get another dog" but they are depriving themselves of another love, and laughter that a new friend will contribute. Fred is looking down from the Rainbow Bridge and sending his love to you.He would want you to love again. I am so sorry that Fred had to leave you.

So sorry for your loss. It is never easy to lose a beloved pet. RIP Fred.

Thanks all for your feelings.

I found a senior that I would be happy to adopt, That particular rescue does not place in homes with a pool without a barrier.
I have had three bullies over the last ten years with no problems. Bullies do not swim and must be watched like toddlers around a pool.

Unfortunately they have a rule (love rules) and my track record means nothing, so I'll keep looking.

Thanks again for the kind words :)

Steve

So sorry.....Nothing we can say but you will move on like the others in here did. You will never forget but after time, it will get better. Cherish the memories as they will always be in your heart.

Surfs up dude. :)

I have just read this about Fred. I am so sorry for your loss of this Precious One. May I ask what happened, how old was Fred. God Bless You and Your Family. Fred is running with the Angels Now and in God's Care.

I came home early afternoon And Fred was panting, but cold. I put him on his favorite pillow and got to pet him for an hour while he went to sleep.
He was 10, I had him for 5 years

He was a "bait" dog and very sick when I got him, but he enjoyed his 5 with me and ate ice cream with me almost every day!

Great photos :) sorry for your losses. I know it is so hard.

And I'm sorry the rescues won't give you a chance. They should make exceptions for some people IMO.
