Forde's nose always looks crusty!

I clean Forde's nose ( not the nose rope but the nose) everyday.......regardless within a few hours it will still have this crusty look to it .....i wipe it down with a baby wipe apply vasoline or vit E , it looks nice and black for a small time then goes right back to crusty, any ideas what i can do to make look nice and black most of the time?

There's this product called Snout Soother that i've used on my boys. You can do a search on it and see what ya think. It helps w/that crusty dryness.

The other product we have had good results with is Aquaphor.
It comes in a tube and you can buy it about anywhere (Walmart is where we got it) Clear and thick like Vaseline but it seems to stay on better even through licking.

I am using Biobalm on Mabel's nose with some success. She hates it, but it seems to be helping.

We've used the snout soother and Aquaphor. Aquaphor gave the best results for us.
