first shoulder, now major diarrhea

I know that bland diet with rice and all is recommended with diarrhea, but if she isn't eating rice normally, like raw fed dogs usually aren't, I don't think it does any good. Just awhile ago Usko had horrible diarrhea and I was battling with this issue too. The vet said to give rice, but I thought why should I give him something that his stomach isn't use to. I consulted a person that has written a few books about raw feeding and she said that tripe (raw) and boiled chicken is better. Small portions about 4 times a day. Well anyway, I'm happy that Lola is feeling better and you don't have to worry about this while you're away.
