Ferguson!! This poor fellow was brought into the Miami-Dade shelter with a suspected chemical burn. Origins were unknown, so it was possibly accidental and hopefully not intentional. We will never know. This courageous boy was happy and friendly from the start... even considering his injury which had to be extremely painful. His skin is now healed and to our surprise, with very minimal scarring. Ferguson is 2-3 years old, great with other dogs, and has a wonderful personality. He still needs a eye specialist consult for possible entropion surgery. Updates to follow...
