I checked it awhile ago and me and my son were affected but my boyfriend and his daughter were not.

These companies should be illegal. They’re not even run by the government nor banks. I use to be a mortgage broker and the crap I’ve seen cause of an inexperienced employee that press the wrong button or entered the wrong data, ruined the person ‘s name for years plus the crap follows you for years n sometimes decades. Word of advice, ALWAYS ask them their names as it keeps them on their toes.
