Eleanor.. tail amputation

How is the old/young lady doing? To be honest I've never heard of this, although not had a dog with a very short tail. Is this common with BBDs? Hope she is well!

She is doing great! Fur is almost fully back in. She seems so much happier, we saw her run across yard for the first time last week.

Sadly it is common to have it needed but not a majority
