Louie and BabyGirl eat grass sometimes but just a little. It doesn't seem to harm them and I don't use insecticides in my yard so I don't think it's harmful. They get green beans daily so I don't think they need extra veggies.

If It's not freshly treated , it's ok, we treat too, before the rain.
