Does your bulldog use a stuffed toy as a pacifier?

Bubba always grabs one of his favorite stuffed toys, when he naps, and holds it in his mouth as a pacifier when he first goes to take a nap..making a suckling nose. Does yours do this?

My Winston does this? Should I be worried ? Is it because he’s missing something ?

Be happy he’s suckling a toy instead of licking

It is a calming habit much like thumb sucking.

One of my dogs does that too and then sleeps with the toy. Some dogs do it fit habit and some do it for calming.
That’s fairly common for dogs to do that.

no worries at all... it is just soothing to them

Tank sucks on the ear or something on one of his babies he hasn't destroyed, and when I come in to bed he uses the extra pillow next to me
