We are set to get a new puppy (Reggie) who had a dermoid cyst removed. It was on outside of his eye(opposite of cherry eye) and it was not touching his eye at all.
It didn't bother us too much as it was taken care of. But we just got a call from our breeder that it has started to come back.

Our breeder was very good about it and has layed out a bunch of options but I am just curious if anybody here have experience with this?

I searched the site and didn't find too much.

Thank you for any help.

A dermoid cyst can occur in many
places. It is made of hair, bone, fat, etc. If any little part of it is left, it can reoccur, even on the spine. Here is a video of a dermoid on the eye being removed. It is a possibility the pup may be having a lifetime of them. You have a choice to take a chance or re-think ,
A hard decision for you.....
