I'm feeding my dog raw but can't afford it anymore he was on Gosolution sensitive limit ingredient salmon but I'm noticing the cyct will go away and come back . I'm thinking open farm he is pretty much allergic to everything any recommendations would be great. Good brand of dog food I'm in Canada. He is 8 years old .

I’m in Alberta and we have mostly what US has. If you have tried everything, make it yourself. Attached are some guidelines you can follow. The picture that has Beef/ Bison is what I buy from my local farmer. Its ratio is already balanced out for your dog. So base yourself on them percentage.

Helene has give you great information

If you choose to go kibble open farm or zingnature are some of the best. open Farm has a website you can look through all the selections and figure which would work best for you baby

Yes just sucks most food has peas or sweet potatoes or chickpeas, and I don't know if I should do grain free or have grain in kibbles ,I won't be givin him kibbles all the time . I also noticed he licks his paw after raw food not so much on kibbles when he is done eating . Could him licking after eating causing him to have cysts? So now when he eats I puts socks on but this is getting so frustrating.

I know Nyala after each raw meal, she licks her front paws. She has no allergies either. I believe it’s a bully thing cause my German Shepherd doesn’t do it. I just say ā€œNyala stopā€ and immediately she stops and jumps on her sofa n lays down šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøSo seems more like a bad habit. If paws are always moist, yes it won’t help for any paw issues. What you can try is Alum. You bake with that. It’s a white bitter powdered in the spice section. Nyala use to lick Jake’s face non stop after eating and my breeder back then told me to put Alum on Jake’s cheeks. It totally worked. They don’t like the bitterness. This is why I believe it’s a bully licking habit.

Yeah we adopted him when he was 5 ,he gets angry at me if i stop him from licking paws and runs away I just put socks now after his dinner bur definitely bad habitšŸ˜‚
