chlorohexidine Dilution

Ok so I just bought some duouxo pads and a gallon of chlorohexidine to make my own pads after that. How much do I dilute the chlorohexidine when I make my own pads or do I just use it straight.

It depends on what percentage chlorohexidine you are using as it generally comes in 2%, 3% or 4% solutions. Below are the mixtures i use.

4% solution = 3 parts water and 1 part solution
3% solution = 2.25 parts water to 1 part solution
2% solution = 1.5 parts water to 1 part solution

Ahhh, I see that I actually bought 2% which is probably fine straight out of the bottle.

Don't use it straight, it needs water mixed with it-- it should be a very VERY pale blue when you use it.

That's the same one I use, I mix mostly water so 3/4 c water 1/4 c solution at the most
