Cherry eye post op -stitching visible

Pati, I'm just now reading this... I'm so very sorry you are dealing w/poor Lily's eyes again. From the pics I agree, it doesn't look like they improved at all... I agree @Blueberry's Mom it's too early yet and w/2 surgeries it may take some time to heal properly. Also I'm thinking that Lily is still young... maybe her eye shape will change as she gets bigger, and her face fills out. I'm so sorry you are going thru this... sending you a big hug!!! Keep us posted...

Thank you xxx
I tried to phone the vet but the person that done surgery is not there , i will get more info on monday
Sorry for overreacting -God! I sound like w hypochondriac when it comes to my dogs ...how embarrassing

Pati, do NOT apologize at all!!! I have become the same way about my bullies, because they have special needs... and I get that way w/my skin kids too but luckily they are older now so it's not as bad. You are a wonderful mother, and you are doing a great job w/your babies

Day 5 ....
Life is good

Completely NOT overreacting, Pati, I'd be the same or worse!

Lots of time, worry, money and she's your heart...how dare they!!

Let us know Monday, try to relax till then, Cami & I send loving hugs!!!

No apologizing.... You are their Momma and someone doe. You and her wrong!!! We are here to help and support, vent to us and please do not apologize for loving your babies so much and expecting work to be done correctly by your vet

Hi guys so sorry for late reply , we got flu here -and a man flu lol ;-) so things are been manic lately
We just came back from seeing the surgeon, they moved Lilys appointment for today
So here is what i know
-the "cherry" cant be fully taken out atm - they cut some of it ,but what i can see is they cant cut it as yet as the tuck in op didnt fail 100% -they explained it that way "its kind of like the cherry is inside a pillowcase " that is to clise to the eye and none of vets/specialists etc as apparently few people had a look at Lily will risk trying to remove it fully -as the risk of eye injury-read blindness is far to big

So now conclusion

-if the cherry decides to come out-they cut it
-if not -lily will stay like that
