Bulldog development? Personal experience?

I was wondering the same. Bella was 5 lbs when we got her at 8 weeks and now at 11 weeks is 11 lbs. We were hoping for a smaller bulldog (but of course wouldn't trade her for the world) since we already have three bigger dogs. Besides our lap or head that she insists on sleeping in won't hold her too much longer.

I just looked back through my threads and Chunky was 14lbs at 2 months and 43lbs at 6 months. I believe he was around 60 at a year and hasn't gotten much bigger but his diet and exercise have not changed any

Well wow! His name was definately appropriate! I am guessing he was NOT the runt. Lol....

This picture was taken on Saturday, LuLu would have been 12 weeks and 5 days old. She weighed 14 lbs 3 oz at the vet when she was 11 weeks and 3 days old. She was the smallest of the litter, and the parents were not real big.

can anyone tell me if these are olde English bulldogs?

They all grow so differently... a few members have smaller bullies (under 45 lbs), but full growth is about 2 yrs old... up the first year out the second year and the head may widen some in the 3rd year

Dad looks Bulldog all the way... Mom could be either so hard to tell.

Olde English are more noticeable in pictures where they are standing. They are taller, longer and leaner in profile with a longer nose/jaw. English Bulldogs are more short, stocky and have flatter faces. The mother in the last pic looks more olde english than the father but they are of all shapes and sizes.

Orion was 34 pounds until she was 4ish. We could not get weight on her. Now she's almost 8 and she weighs 50ish pounds.

First photo is when she was very thin and the second photo is at her current weight.
