That's so scary, when there is an outbreak like this, they should close the borders and not allow any travel in or out of the area until its contained. At least here we have the medication to cure this, but if it gets out of hand and spreads it would be very scary. We had this a few years back with the SARS Virus.

This is extremely upsetting… oh and the BEST news. They are sending troops from Ft. Campbell over there to supposedly contain this nightmare… I CAN'T EVEN…

So totally agree they should close the borders to anyone that has been in the infected country we had a scare here in Brisbane a few weeks ago the woman had been in SA and was in hospital for a few days then they said false alarm, I am beginning to wonder are we silly travelling now? what with this terrorism and now this.

This upsets me to no end. I have so many opinions on this, i can't even share because i get myself all worked up.

My mom is a microbiologist and studies organisms and communicable diseases, so it's a huge interest of mine and we read all sorts of books about disease together, if you guys are readers, check out this series of books - Project Eden, by Brett Battles. it's about a disease strain that is released to kill off humanity. Not really that far fetched in my mind.

In no time at all, it will be spreading.

Well I saw on the news last night that because this "idiot" brought this to our country that now they are watching over 100 people to check for signs, and if anybody tests positive THEN they have to start all over again. GOD help us all… between this and that other virus attacking children I don't even want to watch the news anymore…

I rarely do. Drives my husband crazy. But some days it is hard enough keeping a smile on your face!
