Biting

Any ideas to help with 10 week old biting everything? He has toys etc but bites everything including clothes, feet, hands, cushions etc.

Whenever I have had puppies I spent alot of time with chew toys/bones handing them to pups saying "no bite", here bite this" over and over! It eventually works but you have to be viligent.(sp?) find the most tempting safe chew toys you can! Get to work!!

Here is my 13 week old (Bear). He looks calm but he’s just figuring out how he can best get at me to bite me . The green apple spray works on furniture but you have to spray it every day. It helps but he seems to find a new area. For biting us, I’ve noticed he does it more when he’s tired. If he puts his teeth on me I scream (lightly)and jump up. If he does it again I immediately put him in his crate. He is usually sleeping in a minute or two. I’ve noticed a slight improvement. My next hurdle is when he’s big enough to jump up to get things (coffee table etc). It’s coming soon !
