General Question Billy has a random limp.

Hoping it's nothing, when Buddy was younger he would limp every once in awhile. It was from playing or just growing pains. we had him checked out and they found nothing wrong, once he got older, he stopped doing it, and is fine today.

Herman has this - it's his right shoulder. It has happened every few weeks for the past couple of months. it is usually most apparent when he wakes up. The vet gave him Rimadyl, but I'm not so sure it helps. He gets better after a day or so. His breeder said that the larger males go through bouts of limiping as they are growing. Herman did get xrays, but nothing showed up.

The vet did say that it could be neurological and referred me to a Neurologist as well as an orthopedic specialist. I'm still waiting it out though because it does seem that it's growing pains. I also notice that after walking for a while he limps a little too.

I wish Billy luck! I think both he and Herman will be OK!!!!

Walter has/had the same thing except on his back leg. Brought him to the vet and they said luxuriant patella but no surgery until he is 1 year old. We put him on arthritis pills and his limping has gotten a lot better! Still does a little when he plays a lot. I would highly recommend the arthritis meds.

Hoping it's nothing major with Billy. Wilson gets a limp often after he's been sleeping and gets up. It's like his leg goes to sleep. He's always limped off and one over the last year plus and has pulled his groin twice now. Wondering if Billy could have pulled something from running or jumping up or down and it bothers him when he's been sleeping for a bit?

Awwww, will keep your sweet boy in prayer and hope it's nothing and the
supplements do the trick! GOD bless y'all
