Beer!

Hi,

I am not really a beer drinker and most of the ones here mentioned cant be bought in Denmark but my favs here are Skælskør Black and Skagen Porter which are from small local breweries.

My favorite beers are:
Papago brewing co's Orange Blossom
Beck's light
Pacifico Clara
Chemay (if I want to get housed)
Any lambic, especially framboise and cassis
Coors light when I play Kickball.

Mostly though, I drink hard alcohol. My favorite right now is whipped cream vodka. With or without a mixer. I drink a lot of wine too.... Hmmm

[MENTION=1539]sheila[/MENTION], the whipped cream vodka is really a hit at the bar I work for. Most order it with pinapple juice and a splash of cran. Taste like a cream-sickle. It is to sweet/fruity for me. I like strong beer and strong tasting liquor. My fav. is Jagermeister and Patron. If I drink wine I like the dryer the better Chilain or Argentinian reds for me!!

I'm pretty simple I like bud light lol, not really big on the heavy types. My step dad is German and he is always getting me to try different types but I just can't get past that taste. But I do love me some vodka, rum patron, makers mark. Dang it now y'all are makin me wanna call in sick to work lol, I do have sun off so least I'll get to have some fun Tom!

I have to say that I am a wine drinker!!! Seem to go for the dry whites during the summer, and then the full-bodied reds as the weather gets colder!!! However, when I drink beer .. it's one of these:-

Wild Blue ( a blueberry flavoured beer that I only picked up cos it has a bulldog on the label!!!)

Bud Light Lime

Miller chill

but if I was in England it wouldn't be beer at all, it would be Cider ... usually Strongbow. AND they sell that over here too in the international aisles of some grocery stores. So....

I agree. Craft beer is the best. I'd say my favs are:

1. Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stoudt
2. Stone Ruination
3. Harpoon UFO IPA
4. Spring House Cosmic Monster Belgian Quad
5. Spring House Brrraaaaiiiiins Pumpkin Ale for Zombies
6. Spring House Diabolical Doctor Wit

Where I live we are less the and hour from about 6 or so breweries. We are usually stopping to get growlers fill. MMMMM.... Fresh!

Aren't you close to Lake Michigan? You could take gulp outa there and it would still be better than drinking anything from "Miller"

I like me a Dos Equis with salt and lime. Now there is another cocktail that is made with a beer. I'll probably have the die hard beer lovers drop over, but there is a drink called Michelada. Basically its a beer mixed with clamato or zing zang. Kind of like a bloody mary. You mix the beer with the tomato cocktail, lots of fresh lime, a little seasoning like Lawry's seasoning with pepper on ice. At my the casino in my home town of Eagle Pass TX they also add olives. Its so freaking good. I wasn't a big beer drinker but I was introduced to having beer with clamato. Heck, it got me buzzed and that's all I cared about back in those days (teenager). Ha! I was a bad girl!

I am not a beer person, at all. I drank a glass of Bud Light from a keg at the wedding I went to last weekend just because it was free and pop cost money (what the heck??)..and it was baaad. But from what I hear, Bud Light is in general a terrible beer, lol.

My boyfriend is a big beer fan. He likes Blue Moon a lot..and Dos Equis, Rolling Rock..all kinds of stuff. He likes to try new things.

Just my opinion but yes you drinking a bud light and barely gagging it down is the same as what I would have to do Unless it was my 10th then it may go down a little more smooth) Have you tried the blue moon with an orange? YUM! I know beer is an acquired taste for sure but dang is it good!

Ok, I can't do beer. At all. Blech. lol. BUT I do like a good gin martini, a pina colada in the summer sun or wine. I do not like any of the whites I have tried (and I have tried a few). I only stick with reds.

Nope, I haven't tried the Blue Moon with orange! My boyfriend does love that though. Next time he gets one I'll give it a shot, lol.

I like Grape Smirnoff..Margaritas..Cherry McGullicutty's and Sprite..haha. I guess you could say I like fruity "girly" drinks.

My newest fav is hangar 24 orange wheat. Tastes similar to the blue moon with the orange already in it. No need to add your own. It is from a local brewery tho so not sure how far it is marketed. VERY good if anyone has it in their store.

I do not like beer. Never have liked beer. As a dumb early twenty something I tried to like it. And it likely did play a major role in the conception of my son.
I'll take a nice bloody mary, or frozen marguerita or wine cooler over ice any day.
