Hi!

Our Brutus goes #2 a few times a day and we always wipe the anal area clean after (otherwise we would have a situation on our couch :blush2: ). The combination of dry and cold climate and baby wipes has dried the skin around anal tissue and there is a little blood.

We are going to the vet tomorrow but until then I wanted to know if there was anything I could do about until then and was curious if anyone else is in this situation?

Should I use vaseline?

In the mean time, here is a cute photo!

He's quite the handsome fella. :)

Vaseline should do the trick. I think that's what parents use for their babies to reduce chafing.

yep, vaseline or neosporin will help ..... and good lord he is handsome!

he is so handsome! I use TUCKS medicated pads to wipe their backsides when needed ... it also works great when cleaning tail pockets

aww he's just too cute! hope he feels better!
