Our Aretha is 4 to 6 years old, and a commercial puppymill survivor released into our care. She is still a bit shy at first, until she gets to know you. She is approximately 50lbs, red and white coat color and extremely affectionate with her people. Aretha does not get along with other female dogs, no experience with cats. She would do best in an adult home where she could be the center of attention. She is in good health although she had some digestive issues when she first came to us. However, a good quality dog food, healthy supplements and loving attention has brought this sweetheart around. She has been in foster home until recently and we are hoping to transition her to a permanent home. Aretha is free of cherry eye, no breathing problems at this time, no interdigital growths, no allergy issues (of course we do not feed foods with wheat, corn, soy). Aretha's favorite habit is to "lounge" around with her person. In front of a computer or television, on her favorite bed or perhaps the couch. She is current on vaccinations including rabies and Bordetella (injection), microchip, deworming and goes home with a month's worth of topical flea and tick control.

Bulldogs in Southern California will only be adopted in Southern California and no out of state adoptions. Out of state applications are encouraged to contact their local rescue program and speak with them about local dogs.

** PLEASE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE PRIOR TO INQUIRING ABOUT ANY OF THE BULLDOGS - NO EXCEPTIONS. **

Adoption fees between $400.00 to $1000.00 do apply with adoptions, pets will have all shots completed and be spayed or neutered.

Please allow a 7 to 10 days for a reply to emails concerning dogs.
