An autobiography in five chapters.

I had the above and posted from word to an email and copied and pasted here and it would not format. Tried from Word to copy and paste and it would not format. What format is compatable to copy and paste here? It seems I have done this before here with no problems and it remained similar to original format

You might try going to advanced, then turning off some of the automatic editing modes...I know I sometimes have trouble with pasting things and it helps to do that.

An autobiography in five chapters comes from the book "The Healing Power of Humor" by Allen Klein which I read several years ago. Below is the original with a sixth chapter added by me, perhaps you would like to add a chapter to continue the story.

sincerely,
Tim

AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY IN FIVE CHAPTERS.

Chapter 1

I walk down the street.

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.

I fall in.

I am lost...I am helpless.

It isn’t my fault.

It takes forever to find my way out.

Chapter 2

I walk down the same street.

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.

I pretend I don’t see it.

I fall in, again.

I can’t believe I’m in the same place.

But it isn’t my fault

It still takes a long time to get out.

Chapter 3

I walk down the same street.

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk

I see it is there.

I fall in...it’s a habit...but my eyes are open.

I know where I am.

It’s my fault.

I get out immediately.

Chapter 4

I walk down the same street.

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.

I walk around it.

Chapter 5

I walk down a different street

***************************

Chapter 6 (tpc)

I’m walking down a different street.

I hear some one calling out for help, they’ve fallen in a hole.

I go and offer my assistance.

They’re too busy fuming, fusing and blaming, to hear me.

I go on my way realizing you can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be helped.

Chapter 7

Chapter 7

I'm walking down the street behind you!

I see you try to help.

I wait until they are done fuming, fussing and blaming...I'm certain they are listening.

Turns out there was more than one in there. It was hard to see them, the noisy one got your attention.

The silent one took my hand.

You get the credit for stopping and getting my attention.

:D
