Not so much responds... (((

Sorry didn't realize there was a question... yes, massage it back and see if after teething it stays in place if not you have the options mentioned in the article.

Many many members have experienced this, if you start a thread in General talk section they will provide more insight

Yaroslav Ive experienced it and this had nothing to do when teething is over all should be go. Like mention tuck it back in but the ones that experienced cherry eye with their dogs is usually with an active dog. Tug a war is one I can't play with Nyala. You can keep them active in other ways so the 3rd eyelid doesn't pop out. I had hers tucked in when she got spayed. All good but other eye like mentioned if we play tug a war or she plays with her 2 pitbulls cousins and the blood pressure mounts up, you'll see tendency of that 3rd eyelid with a slightly puffiness. Doesn't come out though just a puffiness. So I give her time off immediately till she calms down. Hard to calm down an active dog!

Sometimes in pups upto 6 months it happens as they are very active at that age

Christine and Helene, thank you very much for your replies, I will keep all this in mind.

Today the baby's eye was just fine, and I did not give him a lot of play like I did before, just an hour of slowly walk around the neighborhood, and get him back to his crate.

Sleeping now again )))

Didn't mean to say stop playing lol of course at 4 months the need to play. Just not excessive playing. Basically try to notice when the cherry eye pops out. It will give you a better idea what to avoid. Just a thought.

They like to play ))).
When puppies are too active in playing, the third eyelid prolapsed - pops out and in again.
Unfortunately, it is common thing in bulldogs.

Also, I would like to ask everyone here - isn't it too early to have anastesia surgery for a four-months-and-one-week puppy?

Not necessarily... Lambeau had his nares done at16 weeks-- just be sure you have a vet experienced with bulldogs
