Walking Bullies in the Summer?

For me we go hang in the back yard. I have a good amount of shade from all the trees I planted 8 years ago. When I do take them for a walk it's early in the morning on the weekends. Other than that we play house ball.

We do the same... hang in the yard at dusk and play ball in the house. No walks in the summer -- too darn HOT

I have an attachment that fits on water bottles with the sport top and I fill the bottle up and put it in the fridge and its ready to go.

Love has a name and its name is Sheldon!!!<3

Unfortunately we don't walk them as much in the summer either, if its 75 or cooler we will bring them to the woods around 7:30 pm and they are usually fine, still a short walk and since we are in the woods there is plenty of shade! But days it's too hot I just play with them in the house.

We live in Mississippi and it is HOT HOT here, we let Bella run around the yard until her tongue hangs out then its time to go inside and sit on an air cond vent haha. :whew:

Here is southern NJ today, the "real feel" temp is going to be over 100 degrees. So Dudley gets a walk at 6 am and at 7 or 8 pm -- short though. I have a water bottle I carry with me too. In between...he runs outside in the yard to tinkle. I am fortunate that the yard is pretty shady after about 1pm. Weather really has been stinko here for our bullies. I let him play with his jolly ball and frisbees for just a few minutes after dinner too. Sometimes, I push the coffee table back and walk him up and down the living room on his leash, working on his commands. He likes that too. I honestly never thought about a walk at PetSmart. That's a good idea, although I hate taking him out and putting him in the hot car. :bitching:

In Texas we run out, start the vehicle, turn on the AC then run back inside.

Wait about 5 minutes then put everyone & the bullies in and go.
:2thumbs:

We only buy vehicles that have vents, front & back seats.
