Waist Not...???

Daphne is now 9 months old. She weighs 40lbs. She still is built like a cinder block, square, short and fat. I guess she will never have a waist. I love my little Fatso so much.

Lambeau is the same way... he is 2 yrs old and still looks just like this and weighs about 55 lbs

I used to have a waist, but don't want to talk about THAT! None of MY dogs have a waist. I think Bro gained 5 pounds after he joined us!

They told me she has never played with toys,she uses a doggie door but not really housetrained(which I don't have) and she doesn't play. Well now she goes and digs in the toy box and picks out a toy,she has not had an accident,and is walking better. At first she could hardlly walk outside because my gravel drive is in the front-included in the fence and she had concrete. She is already spoiled(but the best dog I have!) The rest are rowdy!!!

Chunky is definitely Chunky but pushing 75lbs and has a little bit of a waist but not much. He seems long for a bulldog though compared to others I have seen

Ok now my tears are wiped, she's NOT a "fatso". You're going to hurt her feelings! Crap im still laughing......ok.... She's only 9 months old. Give her some time. And maybe she'll never have a waistline but she's fit, moves alot like a little athlete, eats well, healthy and that's what you need in a dog. Crap I just described myself!!!! and you absolutely love her! That's all she wants. A great momma like you!

Forget about no waist for now. Given her age she's looking just fine. Once she gets 2 yrs old then you can start trying to manage things a little.

My baby Apollo is now 1 year and 10 months and weighs around 57 lbs. He's short and stout and solid. I do call him Fatsho myself and he's so cute but I don't think he's that big. I've seen bigger!! But everyone I run into always has to comment on his weight and how big he is and I don't like it!!
