I need to take a video of Bea getting up to go outside for the first pee of the day. It's comical. Bo jumps up like a jumping bean, ready to go and Bea has to be CONVINCED that going out to empty the ol' bladder is beneficial and fun for her. It's me, basically begging her with my "happy voice" while she snuggles further into her blankets and snaps her eyes shut like she's trying to make me disappear.

Maggie has the same kind of motivational problems in the morning ... at lunchtime ... in the afternoon ..... but seems to be full of energy when we suggest to her that it's bedtime. THEN she will run up those stairs as fast as her fat hairy little legs will carry her!!!
