We don't have a vacuum, we have a Roomba (iRobot), and oddly enough, that's the one thing Blue's not scared of.

Brutus has also made his peace with the vacuum. With my brood it is always running and in between I have the Roomba running. He likes to follow the Roomba around.

same here.... I have a Dyson and Banks HATES the thing, all I have to do is go near the closet it is in and she starts to growl
