My husband was reading the paper and as strange as it seems he reads the part about who is filing for bankruptcy or going to court . Well there was a lady in the legal section with the name Robertha Bacon!! Robertha Bacon!! How fricken weird is that? Awfully close to my lovely Bertha bacon's name. I kinda feel sorry for her since I am thinking about all the teasing that could be done with that name. Of course, nothing can beat the name of a person that works at my place with the name... drumroll please..... Anita Beaver!! Can you believe that? And she goes by Anita, not Ann, not Annie. Anita.

And I sometimes wonder if parents actually think of the names, or say them out loud when they name their kids. I work in an Orthodontic Office, so most of our patients are kids, and sometimes you come across a name that is so weird or funny, and then we fight with other as to who is going to call in that patient. Lol.

Years ago, I had a freelance writer who worked for me...name was Brad, but he signed everything as...wait for it...B. A. Pigeon! There was a press contact in the 1980s at Texas Instruments (gee, I am old!) whose name was Grant O. Lord. Obviously...I remembered!
