Good to know. I am not a gum chewer so never have it. However that doesnt mean they wont be exposed to it. Like chocolate, the quantity I am sure is a factor. However to be safe, when our Sophie ate chocolate that was under the Christmas tree, we called a vet. He said to promote vomiting to get hydrgen peroxide down her. I thought it was odd, but took a turkey baster and put about a cup down her throat. Sure enough, she vomited a few times and was fine.
