Stolen EB in Columbus OH.

This has definately crossed my mind more than once since we are moving. We know our neighbors here and they watch the house. Although the area is very nice it does scare me to have Vegas out walking for people to see. I will have to meet my new neighbors soon!!

This is one of the reasons we have an alarm system (no - not Banks)... we never leave the house without setting it. The TV can be replaced - you can't replace the fur-babies

Sorry I should have checked first before posting the story. But the good news is he is back home. Just a good reminder to always watch our bullies.

No apologies needed, David. Better safe than sorry. I was about to send a mass email out when I saw your post, good thing I remembered to read the whole thread first. :)

So glad she's safe and sound. She has a guardian angel watching over her for sure.

i saw another story on craigslist recently about two stolen ebd puppies. i think it was in new jersey.

omg how awful. i was saying to bf that we needed to get sarah chipped as i worry about someone stealing her. he said what for she stays in the house all the time. hmm maybe still get her chipped did not consider people would break in just for a dog. i do worry and i never tell people where i live or anything as i dont want them seeing sarah and getting ideas.

cowsmom we always microchip all our pups before they go to their new homes. I feel a responsible breeder should do this. It does no guarantee you will get them back but sometimes it does help.

Before we got Jack, we had met a lady that had an older bully that she wanted to sell. She had "Needs Medication" written on the dog's collar in bold lettering. She told me that the dog didn't really need medication, it was just one way of keeping people from thinking about stealing her. I thought it was a pretty good idea except that I don't leave Jack's collar on him.
