HI I am looking for a chemical free product for tick control to use on my bullies. We live in Connecticut and have a huge tick problem I do not feel comfortable appying chemicals to my dogs.Any suggestions gratefully appreciate. Thanks in advance:anyone::unsure:

Well someone should be along soon with some help. We don't have a tick problem here, so I don't use anything.

there is a thread here somewhere.... I'll see if i can find it and post the link for you

Diatomaceous (sp?) Earth-food grade kills fleas ticks and other bugs It destroys the protective coating on their shell. It is safe ,even for us to eat it. You can look it up on the internet. I use it on the dogs, and sprinkle it on their beds. I have wood/tile floors-so they look "powdery" for a little while, but I figure it gets in the cracks, too. It works! @Abby&Jacks Mom

Yes I hope so thanks anyways

Lynn found the one I was thinking of the 'DE' but you can also look at --- go to www.dogsnaturallystore.com and you will find natural insect repellants. I subscribe to dogs naturally magazine and it has great info on natural and holistic remedies of all kinds. ---
