Hey everyone I'm new to bull dog forum and also a new Bulldog owner.

Our 4 month old bully has a rash on his tummy. Any ideas on what it could?

First of all :smileywelcome: you will get lots of advice here. The rash could be from allergies, hives, bug bites ect... If you post some pictures someone will stop by who can tell you what they think. In the mean time you can give your bully benedryl 1 mg per pound it will make them more comfortable. If you have these you can wipe the area with either Duoxo pad, witch hazel, even yellow listerine, or Vinegar

Is it hives or rash, dry or open? If you can please post a pic. By the way Welcome to the wonderful world of Bulldogs. If you look around , especially under Bulldog Health you just might see a rash that looks like something you are dealing with. They may be lots of advice also. Again welcome to EBN

I would just give him 1 tablet of Benadryl for now, it could be from the grass's or from food. If you're giving him store bought treats, maybe think about not giving them to him. Many bully's have skin allergies that flair up in the summer time and also grain in their food. Bully's are often times allergic to the grain in dog foods.

A baby shampoo will work as a gentle cleanser, rinse well,,and then 1 cup of white vinegar to 1 gallon of water, pour over him and let it on, dry as usual. It balances his ph level and cleans any detergent residue .
He's young and I'd hate to see him start out dependent on antibiotics already

The crew has you covered.... @sheery is our Queen of the skin issues so, she has you all set. best of luck and keep us posted.

Also, Tank is ADORABLE...

Well we figured out the rash was from the fabric softener we used to wash his bed. Thank all for the help!
Tank is growing fast :)
