hi my name is Lori and I found this fourm googling for ideas and My dog Tank has 2 toe pads that are pink, they don't seem to bother him much, I've been using coconut oil and acv, and I they seem to be getting a little better, going to start using bag balm,as he walks on many different surfaces, but part of it's cement, we live right by a spillway creek and trail, he hates me doing anything to his paws.

Pink skin and spotted pads and nails is totally normal. I don’t see any inflammation or redness to be worried about in that photo.

If it gets red and yeasty in-between the toes I recommend keeping clean and dry, especially after coming in from outside. We use a powder called white winkle, it’s zinc oxide based.

If the pads get raw looking, it may be caused by hot surfaces outside. If the cement is too hot and he is on it too long.

But again, pink toe pads, spots, etc is normal.

pink pads are usually normal, but good on you for being cautious!
