My breeder been breeding a specific color. She’s been doing for years n finally got what she’s worked hard at. I know some don’t agree on Merle’s but hers are not the Merle’s with issues etc. took 10yrs. Anyhoooo, no im not going to have one. Only when I move in a couple yrs. I won’t handle 3 dogs, moving across country, settling in etc. I’m not in a hurry but do like the black n white...haaaa you all thought a Merle eh? Lol.. love the little girl facing the camera too.. they’re all cute

The issue is I work 7 days a week. I’ve decided to sell my business as of this May. It’s a business that grew very fast cause of the demands from grocery chain stores. also sell the houses I’ve bought a while ago. Need to get rid of stuff. I feel it’s time to travel while I’m not too old n can walk anywhere long distance. Why if I get a 3rd dog, I’ll have to have them babysit with someone I trust. When you have too many pets you’re limited. I will get another dog n I definitely want a Maine Coon Cat.

My parents have a Maine Coon. I know I’m completely insane but Louie’s breeder is planning on a litter or two this year and now I’m thinking...lol lol lol. When the time comes I’ll need you to talk me out of it!

From what I’ve read Maine Coon is very independent. More than an ordinary cat. I can see a MC putting Nyala n Duke in their place .

Here’s our Maine Coon mix. He’s a mix so may be totally different. As you can see he’s the same size as our 21lbs bulldog pup. But he’s actually pretty needy. He’s very socialiable and LOVES our kids. He needs stimulation, way more than most cats. We actually started letting him outside since we live in a nice area and he doesn’t stray far. He’s also like a dog in some regards. You’re going upstairs? Him too! He needs to be doing what you’re doing. But they’re very loving cats. Very playful. He doesn’t seem to have buttons like other cats. Very chill...but I wouldn’t say independent, at least with our boy

Here’s my brother from another mother. He usually runs away from me when I go over. If I ever got a cat I would go MC or Ragdoll (I think that’s what they’re called).
