New TV shows/series recommendations...

I'm always on the lookout for new shows/series to watch... especially when it's cold out, and we aren't spending as much time outside at night. Here are some shows that I'm watching right now, and please add what you enjoy so we all can get our DVR'S ready... Lol

1. Taboo... just started last night on the FX channel, and it has Tom Hardy in it... looks REALLY good but I've only seen one episode.

2. Homeland... been watching this from the beginning, and I love it!!! Claire Danes is the main star, and I was a little disappointed in last season so I hope they up the ante this time.

3. House of Cards... if you've never seen this one, this is a must see!!! I'm addicted to this one as well... Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are fantastic in this. Not sure when the new season is out, but you can catch the older season's on Netflix's.

4. Game of Thrones... this one everybody is watching, and I believe the new season is starting up soon.

5. Outlander... I need to catch up on this one, I actually missed all of last season... but this is a really great show as well.

I can't think of anymore right now, but I'm going to dig up our Netflix's account and see what we have already watched...

I watch a lot of ID Discovery shows, but my big watch tight now is 'impractical jokers'... laugh my *** off on almost every episode

Started Taboo tonight. Looks promising.

I heard Game of Thrones not coming on til this summer due to the need for filming during winter. Very short season too...7 episodes, IIRC. THATS NOT ENOUGH!!!!!!
I hope I'm mis-informed.

Taboo is very interesting so far and anything with Tom Hardy gets my attention, he is one of my favorite young actors. Legion, which will be on FX and starts on 2/8 also looks worth checking out. If you are not a Comic Book geek, it's based on Charles Xavier's son (of the X-Men).

I'm also looking forward to the return of Baskets, but I'm a big Zack G. fan.

We have recently started watching Alone and The Selection: Special Operations. Coming up I am interested in seeing the new series Six that is coming out next week. Outside of that it is out normal Homicide Hunter and the various NCIS shows... Forgot to add Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge on CMT on Sunday nights is a must watch for us as well.

I would honestly HATE to admit how much ID channel I watch too... have you seen the new one Crimes to Remember? They show crimes from back in the early 1920-30s... I loved it!!!

I absolutely LOVE Tom Hardy... that is why I wanted to watch "Taboo"... it looks pretty good so far!!! Legion looks great too...

I don't get HBO but will definitely be renting Westworld from Netflix and binge watching. Loved the original movie and everything I've read about the show sounds great, casting is superb as well it seems.

Yes. This is kinda old news. With "Winter" coming they had to shift the production schedule to later in the year for the full effect so season 7 is supposed to start around mid June. Both season 7 and 8 will only be a total of 15 episodes but the majority are supposed to be 20 to 30 minutes longer in duration. Also on a good note Martin stated that The Winds of Winter is supposed to be released this at some point this year so we will see.
