Hi I have a 1 year old bulldog and am getting a puppy soon for company for us any useful advice would be welcome including getting them to accept eachother

Welcome!!! Congrats on getting a 2nd one. They will keep each other company for sure. Only advice is never leave them on their own as a 1yr old will play rough with the little one. Like a toddler playing with a newborn. I’m sure you’ll figure it out n will see the do’s n don’t.

There’s a search button top right. Great info on this forum n you can always ask away.

Don’t forget photos, we love photos!!

As far as how they will interact...you can expect some of this...

Give them time to accept each other... some will be instantly fine, other take a few weeks. Let them sniff and check each other out...

I would also like a puppy, but I have an allergy and I can't afford it. For this reason, every time I see puppies outside, I am very happy to admire them at least from afar. Especially I like bulldogs the most because it is a breed that attracts me involuntarily. Very often, I look on thebulldogexpert.com for different pictures and information about this breed and this lifts my mood. I found some medications that I can take to get over my dog allergy for a while, but I won't be able to live with a dog because it would be very complicated.
