I swore by putting a worn tshirt in crate with baby as well. Penny would curl up on it almost immediately after we started doing that.
We clicker train as well...there is a book our trainer recommends. I will look for it & post back. We loved clicker training & I prefer the positive reinforcement methods. We have fun with it!
