Thank you we are pretty attached to Dixie and getting attached to Lizzy now that she's sleeping better at night lol.

My husbands family has been in Midland for 5 generations and I've been here for 28 years. We really like it here really hot right now!

As far as getting her at 6 weeks. "Back in the day" it used to be the norm for puppies to be sold/given away as soon as they were weaned at about 6 weeks of age. I'm sure in many cases breeders feel that is sufficient and continue the practice.
Luckily for most of our spoiled babies we have come to the realization that puppies gain a lot of good social skills being with mama and siblings those extra two weeks until they are 8 weeks old. (and 12 weeks some breeders cases)

But now that what's done is done, you just get to enjoy your girl a couple weeks early.
