Oh no!

Poor Sadie, hopefully she heals up soon!

They can get injured so easily, and the vet costs are SO ridiculously expensive, very crazy for what they charge.

Hopefully she doesn’t peel the splint apart again.

Especially the young ones, it’s hard to not let them play, even my 3 year old dog, no one can stop him from playing!

Hopefully Sadie has a fast recovery

You should see her run on 3 legs. She picked it up within 24hrs. Tomorrow morning will see if it’s still on. If not, the duct tape is coming outā€¼ļø

Trying to keep them calm can be the worst! I’ve had to do it 4 times with Jax after rash of his surgeries. And as they start to feel better, it’s even worse. Good luck!

She won’t sit still. It’s like impossible. She reminds me of Duke in an oversized GS suit. I open the back door so they all go for their morning business which they all do. Walking towards the house she starts running n started to whack the other 2 with her splint. it’s like a small baseball bat. I grab her to make her walk but laughing at the same time. Earlier Jake was up on the sofa her on the floor n both we’re mouth biting each other but in a playful way. I’m like 2ft from them keeping an eye out n Jake decides to grab her splint n chew on it like a toy. Geez like no Jake. How do you want to punish them while laughing šŸ˜‚. Bunch of clowns I swear. She’ll have to go on a leash when I bring her out.

You know that isn’t lasting either, right? šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
Absolutely not….yesterday went out shopping which wasn’t too long n came home to this…..

then had to redo the whole splint. It was everywhere in the living room. Did Nyala n Jake also help pulled on it I don’t know. She won’t touch it if I’m in the house. She’ll have to wear the cone when I go out. Bet she’ll break that too 🤪

she is so pretty! And, innocent

No, ripe it off 3x, fixed it, has a hot spot, working on that, now wears a cone n still finds a way trying to remove it. Like crap man…

Oh no! That’s terrible,

It’s so frustrating when that happens, especially when some dogs are cone experts and bend the cone so they can get to the sore!

One of my dogs is a cone expert and actually found a way to take it fully off!

Hopefully with the cone on, she won’t be able to get to it as easily.

Hopefully she heals up and stops taking it off, it’s so hard to keep them calm especially when they are young.
