It never gets old.Well maybe a wee bit, when I see kitty parts on the hiking trail ..
or a hawk flying over with dinner in his claws..
But..I tell myself it's nature...Beautiful and harsh all at once!
That's the part that I pretend does not exist. In my "mind's world", we're all vegetarians and no one gets hurt. I react even when I see a road kill possum. Ugh.
One time, a possum got hit in front of my house (in the city). It wasn't dead all the way and was suffering. I knew that the school kids would be out soon and it would only mean more torture for this poor animal. I begged my tough neighbor at the time, Rudy, to come over and whack it with a shovel and put it in my garbage can. I was sad for a friggin WEEK.
Vicaroo1000 your flowers and such are way further along than ours. Ours are just starting to bud out the leaves. it will be at least a month before we see any flowers I'm thinking. But the forsythia bushes have turned yellow just this week.
Those forsythia blooms mean spring is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! Woooooooo!!!
