Just a thought.

Perhaps everyone knows this but when your EB is congested just squirt lemon juice down their throat it breaks up The mucus.
good also if an EB us panting heavily due to being out in the heat (Never keep your EB out outside for long when temps rise.)

You use a syringe? How much are we talking? Few drops? Tsp?

We just use the stuff in the lemon shaped squeeze bottle. Just open up and give a little squirt.

we usually squirt it in the jowls so it doesnt burn the throat. But yes it works very well.

thank you for the tip. I wish I would have known about this back when one of my first females had to have her pallet shortened but the vet wanted to wait til she was about 10 months or so , (so that the pallet wouldn't grow back as she would be growing so much at a younger age) so the female pup often created to much saliva,because of the extra length of the pallet. and often was throwing up Flem and bile, but I always kept a pkg of pepsid AC, and animal crackers(children's circus cookies) non frosted of course!! and 1 or 2 cookies at night would keep something in the tummy till morning.
I also use the lemon juice in a spray bottle with a mixture of 99 to 1 water for spraying at dogs when misbehaving .!!!
