Kale Chips

Hello, how many EB owners actually give their bullies Kale Chips? I am thinking of making some for myself and I thought maybe it will also benefit my Howie too. Is kale safe for bulldogs? Thank you in advance for any advices and/or suggestions.

Hi, as long as your dog isn't suffering from kidney stones then kale is safe and also very good for dogs, only give small amounts as it can cause gas. I had to look up what kale chips were as I'd never heard of them. I read it's kale, olive oil & salt baked in the oven. Leave the salt out then yes it will be fine to feed them to howie.

I bake them for the parrots, never thought about giving them to the dog :0)

Well, Kale has calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, vitamin C and vitamin K. It contributes to healthy skin, eyes and bones. If anyone is interested, here's the link on how to make your own kale chips. And yes, I do agree that I would not put salt nor any seasoning for Howie but for me, I can sure use a little bit of sea salt
