July Garden Tour

They dropped off the sign tonight. We've been nominated for the neighborhood beautification award again this year.

:detective: .......................:hmm: Frog .... porno ................ :faint:

 we need a thread or group for that !!!

we got some rain this week and calling for rain all day, will get out and take some pics soon.

hahahahaha I love my frogs! They are a great indicator of how our ecosystem is doing. The neighbor lady was complaining about ants the other day. She also mentioned that she has seen a lot of frogs in her yard. I said, "What do you think the frogs eat?" Never occurred to her that there's a food chain out there. I reminded her that poison (ant bait) affects EVERYTHING. She agreed. Yay. It's the little successes that mean so much.

Wow I missed this because I thought it was Sherry's or Bruces because of the title, sorry I will pay more attention next time!

I am a tad jealous, the only thing I miss about living anywhere other than AZ is having a beautiful garden. We decorate with rocks and gravel here :p. Few bushes and loads of cacti....

Your garden is Absolutely stunning!

Sign? Again? this is Great News! Congratulations Bruce and Lari, well done :2thumbs:

Sherry, I say again because for the past three years since they started awarding neighborhood beautification awards we have been nominated.

They nominate 60 homes each year and pick 20 winners. We have not won. But we don't do it for any award anyway.

I think our no lawn landscaping is a little too far outta the norm, so I'm actually surprised we keep being nominated.

Simply gorgeous flowers you have! Love Love Love the garden with the veggies :) I cant keep plants alive so I dont even try anymore! Man I wish some you with the green thumbs lived closer to me :2thumbs:
