Help Needed! Jowl Absess

I'm almost wondering if he got into a tangle with a wasp. We have been trying to get rid of those stinkin' things but the mud wasps are constantly flying into our backyard.

That looks painful, poor guy! I got stung by a mud wasp about 9 years ago and OMG that HURT!!!

It looks a lot better this afternoon. Hardly noticeable anymore. I'll bet it was a bee/wasp sting. I got stung on my arm about a month ago and yowwww that hurts!
