Cooked bones can splinter. Frozen raw marrow bones are good.

Okay! So this is a no-go right?

If you want to give him marrow bones, raw ones are probably better!

Roasted = BAD
do not give to any dog

nachothebulldog I wouldn't give these bones to your baby. I'm speaking from experience. When Ranger was about 7mths old we gave him a beef knuckle (I think it was called that) anyway it splintered and got stuck in his stomach. He had to have emergency surgery to have it removed. Never again. We only give raw now.

We give ours Nylabones, hard rubber toys from Kong, and Elk or Moose antlers.

Yep, Nylabones and Kong toys!

agree with the gang.... no cooked bones. raw are the best kind for them... Kongs, nylabones are great too.. Moose paddles are another good one too.
