Help! Inverted nipple won’t go back in…

I was cleaning my bullie’s inverted nipples and one seems to be inflamed and red/swollen. It would not go back in… any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated.

We made an appt with the vet just in case if it is infected or gets worse but earliest availability is 5 days from now.
