Halloween Planning

Halloween is coming and we are getting ready. We are not big on it but give out candy. Canelo is a social butterfly and has to say Hello to everyone whether they want to or not. His first Halloween was 3 years ago. Doorbell rings, he runs to the door, squeezes between a leg and the door and was in the middle of the kids. About half were OK, but the other half nope and a small number lost it, like the princess that came to the door, shrieked while her Daddy was loving on Canelo. Can't blame her, with that mug and grill, he looks scary, lol.

Last year I put a child gate up in the front door and found a costume that fit Canelo. He can't get past the gate and the kids loved watching the lobster that was waiting for them at the door, not one scream. Kids got candy and glow in the dark bracelets, Canelo got loving from the visitors. We're doing this again this year, I was wondering if anyone else has their Bully participate in holidays and how you do it?

the kids loved watching the lobster that was waiting for them at the door, not one scream.

Now that's classic, I would love to see a pic of that!

We have an enclosed porch so we usually sit out there with Buster on a leash, big scary Panda bear this year.

I love that lobster costume! [emoji38] We are planning to pass out candy this Halloween, but will probably do it like how you did: put a baby gate and have the kids who like dogs be able to pet him [emoji1]

what a great idea.... love it and the costume.

Banks and Cheli are so in love with kids we can't let then participate, they just want to get lovins from each of them and it is too stressful on most of the kids. So, we are party poopers... place a basket of candy on the front porch with a sign saying Happy Halloween.. please take one. booooo we suck!

We have taken our dogs trick or treating w/the kids. Usually they are exhausted by half-way… this year I will probably take Walter in his wagon w/my grandson. LOL

Oh. My. Gosh! I adore that costume!! This is our first Halloween. I'm pretty sure Harleigh is going to be making some noise from behind a baby gate while the kids come by for some candy.

Canelo loves kids. We have 12 nieces and nephews. When they come over or we go to there place Canelo sleeps in the middle of all of them in the pile. Please excuse the movie, I got out voted, lol.
