George with cystinuria...2 years on!

It's been a while since I last caught up with everyone on here, just thought I'd write a post to let you all know how George is doing. He was diagnosed with cystine crystals in 2011, 6 months later he blocked with cystine stones and had to have surgery to remove them. I switched him to a raw diet, add water to his meals and try to get him to drink between meals, I had him neutered within 3 months of being blocked. I also add a herbal remedy to his meals...hydrangea tincture. We're celebrating this month...2 years symptom-free since he blocked. I don't know what part I've done right to get him through this far, but I'll carry on with what I'm doing and keep my fingers firmly crossed
