Flea/Heartworm

What are you guys using for flea/heartworm medication?

Last year I had mine on Trifexis, didnt have any issues or fleas. But hes been off a while so I am either going to pick that up or something cheaper if it's a decent product. Im not a fan of the topical solutions. I see a lot of people are using Sentinel but I don't like that it doesn't kill adult fleas.

We use Heartgaurd and K9 Advantix plus combo. I would advise you against Trifexis there has been many cases of death and illness due to the ingrediants.

Same here Advantix 2. Trifexis is poison and kills dogs. Welcome to EBN.

Oliver and Sebastian use Advantix but Remy has to use Sentinel because he's allergic to any kind of topical medication.

Cool...I'll look into those. I can't say that Trifexis is poison. Im aware of the controversy but at the same time I haven't seen clear proof that it is dangerous (not saying that it is or isn't) but my dog was on it a good 8 months with no issues and it worked so only speaking from my personal experience.

I use Frontline & Heartgard... never had any issues!
