Face sneezes!

Does your furbaby sneeze in your face when in an affectionate mood? Freya does it every time!
She sneezes sometimes when she wants attention or to play but she does it every time someone close to her ,especially me puts their face to her or she does them.
I mentioned it to my dog trainer who said the playing, attention seeking most dogs do, but only bracchy breeds, bully’s in particular ,seem to do the face sneezing out of the many dogs she’s trained and walks.

Yes! attention seeking, also a dominance thing, the two go hand in hand in my opinion. Jeffo did this for the first few weeks when I got him from rescue, but that's well gone now, because he is not dominant, and he is well balanced, with his behaviour.

Yeah I know the dominant thing so does my trainer , i should have said that in my op. I’m a big believer in dom/sub although not Ceaser Milan style! But she does it in her affectionate moments and it’s a kind of lighter sneeze, and I know when she’s trying to be dominant or not, believe me she is very quick at picking up on human tricks ie sitting on your bum as high as you can and holding your head high, she soon figured out how to do the same the first time I did it people say bully’s are stupid, I say they are!

It happens to my husband a lot… he is always petting and loving on them with his face near theirs… then , splat, glasses are soaked
