Does your bully have a thing for sniffing? I swear Freya would make an amazing cadaver dog. Dogs love to sniff but she’s somehow managed to take it to the next level!
She also fixates very easily, it could be the person across the road, the car that’s just started its engine or anything that takes her interest! Once she spots something that’s it, it’s like she’s in another world and getting her out of it can be very hard work. Bullys are without doubt the best breed ever but they’re also the most stubborn little buggers 😂

Jeffo does exactly the same, there is no next level, they are the next level, full on.:ROFLMAO:

😂😂😂…. None of our bulldogs were like this, but my two Frenchie totally were, especially our little terrorist now, Cubby! He could totally be a tracker, as soon as we step outside, his head is up , eyes closed, and he is trying to catch a scent. Then on walks,, everything is a distraction or his nose is buried in grass or dirt! 🐽🐽🐽

My German Shepherd does that constantly. First thing in the morning when I open the back door to let her out, she starts from the door to the bottom of the cow fencing. Yes GS are born trackers but often she forgets to go pee. 🤦‍♀️

Agree with @paw7004, if she is showing interest, get her into classes you'll have a blast!

Have you thought about taking her to a Nose Work class?
I’ve never heard of that, but it sounds like something she’d love! Do you have any links?

Newman does the sniffing also, but he is like the nosey old man next door. He always has to see what the neighbors are doing and when on walks, when a car goes by he always has to see who it is.
That’s Freya to a T!

😂 I think they invented that last level! The Problem with Freya is because she fixates so much she does it with dogs too, they of course don’t appreciate it, their body language completely changes then Freya reacts and goes on the defence!
The sad thing is she only wants to play, but she just doesn’t understand other dogs body language.
Out of curiosity does everyone else’s bully eat anything and everything? Freya has a very healthy and good quality diet but she eats anything from poo, soil, plastic, leaves , twigs , wood and so on!

Showing interest she sniffs like her life is on the line 😂 forget the 3 second sniff rule - that’s not even a starter for her!

Freya is exactly the same! First thing every morning and last thing at night when I take her out to toilet she stares at the garage lights higher up across the road and all the cars! She squats to do her stuff then is so busy fixating she forgets what she was going to do 😂

One of our bulldogs is obsesses with the dryer, cookie sheets, aluminum foil, shovels, and daily rhe Shower. Loterally goes ballistic and cant help himself. I've always wondered where these strange behaviors come from!
